Employee Training Required Before Returning to Campus

Mandatory training for employees and other key steps has been implemented to ensure Duquesne University staff, faculty and students enjoy a safe campus during the COVID-19 pandemic this fall.

Before returning to campus, all employees are required to complete COVID-19: What You Need to Know (Rise) training.

In addition, employees must carefully review the updated Employee Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in the Faculty & Staff section of the University’s COVID-19 Planning and Information website.

The COVID-19 website, which is updated regularly, also includes the Master Plan to Reopen Campus, Latest News, COVID-19 FAQs and other resources. This collection of resources is designed to help faculty and staff navigate the global pandemic.

Employees are asked to review TAP No. 60: Employee Rules Related to Returning to Campus During COVID-19 Pandemic. Approved in June, TAP 60 addresses the responsibilities of all employees in protecting themselves and the campus community upon their return to work.

Additional COVID-19 and return-to-work instructional materials may be produced and required for all employees as circumstances change and additional guidance from government officials is made available. Remember to review all emails from Duquesne University, the Office of the President and the Office of Human Resources to stay informed. Weekly updates will also be provided in the Times.
