University Offices Share Updates on Processes, Hours and More

As the fall semester draws closer, the following offices have announced updates to their operations in conjunction with the Master Plan and to maintain pandemic safety practices set forth by the University.

Cashier’s Office
The cashier’s office is open by appointment for in-office services as well as by phone at 412.396.5562. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Departments should continue to make deposits by using the night depository, located on the exterior of the Administration Building by the building’s parking lot. Schedule an appointment by emailing cashiersoffice@duq.edu if a face-to-face deposit is required. Zoom meetings also can be arranged to conduct a virtual face-to-face meeting to safely answer questions.

Receipts will not be issued at the counter for department deposits. Confirmation receipts will be emailed when the Cash Reports (CR-1) has been processed. Those who utilize the night depository will receive confirmation receipts by email when the CR-1 has been processed. Deposits made through the Department of Public Safety will continue follow the same procedures that have been in place.

The cashier’s office staff will sanitize secured bank bags before processing. Members of the campus community are reminded to follow safe social distance guidelines and wear a mask while attending their appointment at the cashier’s office.
