What have Drs. Rebecca Kronk and Khlood Salman been up to?

Dr. Rebecca Kronk, associate dean for academic affairs and associate professor of nursing, has been selected for the 14th class of fellows to be inducted into the National League for Nursing (NLN) Academy of Nursing Education. NLN fellows are nurse educators who teach in a variety of programs across higher education and who are affiliated with leading teaching hospitals and other organizations committed to advancing the quality of health care in the United States and globally.

The induction ceremony will be held during the Honors Convocation of the virtual 2020 NLN Education Summit, from Sept. 23-25, 2020.

Dr. Khlood Salman, associate professor of nursing, has been selected for induction into the American Academy of Nursing’s (AAN) 2020 Class of Fellows. Inductees will be recognized for their significant contributions to health and health care at the AAN’s annual Transforming Health, Driving Policy Conference (being held virtually) from Oct. 29-31, 2020.

Salman is just one of 10 nurses from Pennsylvania, and 230 selected for induction from across the United States. The AAN reviews hundreds of applications each year in order to select new fellows.
