Reminder: Big Read Virtual Keynote Happening on Friday

Faculty and staff are reminded to tune in to The Power of Curiosity sponsored by Gumberg Library in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read at Duquesne.

Emily Grasile, acclaimed science communicator and “Chief Curiosity Correspondent” at the Field Museum in Chicago, will present the keynote address online via YouTube Friday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. It is free and open to the public.

The keynote—which was originally scheduled for March 2020—is being held in partnership with Duquesne orientation and will also serve as the 2020 First Lecture for incoming freshmen.
