Faculty, Staff Invited to Virtual Global Sustainability Conference

Duquesne University is one of several institutions hosting one of the world’s largest events on sustainability, which faculty and students can attend virtually for free.

AASHE: The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher EducationThe Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education, presented by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), will be held from Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 22. It will feature a variety of live content, including speakers and sessions on effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions that advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities.

This year’s theme, Mobilizing for a Just Transition, focuses on creating economic shifts that advance sustainability while ensuring no groups are left behind.

Registration is free for Duquesne faculty, staff and students with a duq.edu email address.
