Women in STEM Travel Support Applications Due Jan. 1

Women in STEM at Duquesne is offering travel awards for female students, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty in STEM and health science fields. The program provides important opportunities for early-career, female scientists to present their research in regional, national and international forums and to network with scholars from around the world.

The awards, up to $500 for each recipient, are available for Duquesne women presenting STEM research in either oral or poster format at an in-person or virtual conference or professional meeting. The awards can also be used to attend virtual STEM conferences, professional meetings or workshops.

The travel awards reflect Duquesne’s commitment to expand student horizons and provide valuable learning experiences, even during a pandemic.
