British Politics Expert to Examine Brexit’s Impact

Members of the Duquesne campus and community can gain insight from a virtual presentation today that will examine the British government’s decision to leave the European Union and the future consequences for the United Kingdom.

Brexit and the Future of Britain, sponsored by the Department of History, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.

The presentation will feature guest speaker Dr. Martin Farr, senior lecturer in contemporary British history at Newcastle University in England. Farr’s teaching and research focus on post-1914 British history, and his areas of expertise include British politics and public life since World War I.
