Grants Received

Funds totaling $85,433 were recently received by the School of Education and the School of Pharmacy.

• Dr. Jason Margolis, School of Education, $18,766, from the Grable Foundation, to support an effort to boost teacher morale through the distribution of student artwork.
• Dr. Jennifer Elliott, School of Pharmacy, $50,000, from the Heinz Endowments, to support the Census Team of the Greater Hazelwood Community Collaborative in gathering information that will amplify the work of the Healthy Hazelwood subcommittee.
• Dr. Jennifer Elliott, School of Pharmacy, $16,667, from the Centers for Disease Control passed through the Allegheny County Health Department, to support the expansion of asthma self-management education as part of the school and community-based asthma program.
