Step into Spring with Women’s Guild Plant Sale

The Duquesne University Women’s Guild is hosting its 2021 plant sale, Step into Spring, to benefit Spiritan Campus Ministry and the guild’s endowed scholarship.

Individuals can order flowers and herbs through Friday, April 9.

Spice up summer dishes with the popular Italiano, Mediterranean and Mexicana herb gardens and beautify patios with flowering blooms of petunia, pansy, trailing snapdragon, nemesia and verbena options. Most arrangements start at only $25.

Plants and flowers can be ordered and purchased online or by completing a paper form. All plants must be picked up in person Wednesday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a location to be announced closer to the pick-up date.

For more than 90 years, the Women’s Guild has hosted fundraising activities to advance the University’s mission and help Duquesne provide a horizon-expanding education through academic scholarships for students and contributions to campus infrastructure such as buildings, school equipment, library collections and more.
