Duquesne’s Spiritan founders believed in welcoming all and excluding none, and even today, the idea that equity and opportunity begin at home remains a part of our institutional identity.

The Center for Excellence in Diversity and Student Inclusion provides support services and opportunities for learning. In addition, the center coordinates community-wide events and programs to provide guidance, acknowledge campus leaders, raise awareness about critical issues and help others understand and become more open to the lives and journeys of others.
