What have Maria Comas and Dr. Rebecca Kronk been up to?

Maria Comas, director of career services in the School of Law, has been appointed co-chair of the National Association for Law Placement’s (NALP) Small and Solo Career Services Office Section for 2021-2022.

Comas and her co-chair will lead their group in sharing ideas, information and best practices, ideas for and writing of monthly NALP Bulletin articles, and draft proposals to be presented at the association’s annual conference. In her role with the law school, Comas helps law students learn the skills to build a fulfilling career and improve the lives of others.

Dr. Rebecca Kronk, associate dean for academic affairs and associate professor in the School of Nursing, will serve as a mentor for the Golisano Fellowship in the Developmental Disability Nursing program. The new fellowship was launched by the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.

A 12-month program, the fellowship is designed to develop nursing thought leaders who will support and promote the health and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Program fellows will receive individualized mentoring from international leaders in the field like Kronk, a renowned teacher-scholar.
