It’s Time for Bigger Goals: Duquesne Website Redesign

The University’s website is on the brink of an exciting upgrade.

Website Redesign Project Update: Working togther to realize our boldest goalsOver the next year, www.duq.edu will be redesigned and reinvigorated, supported by a new, enrollment-focused, easier-to-use content management system (CMS). The upgrade will expand horizons with the latest technology, an engaging and intuitive visitor experience, and a competitive edge.

As one of the University’s most important marketing, recruiting and engagement tools, the website is akin to a front door—welcoming prospective students to join the Duquesne community and inviting them to revisit time and again as they become a Duke.

The Division of Marketing and Communications and the Office of Computing and Technology Services are working together, alongside carefully selected CMS and redesign vendors, to assess the current website and plan strategically for its future. The University’s web content managers are key partners in the project, giving their time and expertise to help inspire students from the time of their first visit through earning their degrees and beyond.

As Duquesne works toward securing more meaningful connections and building lasting relationships with key audiences, it’s time for bigger goals. Throughout this complex endeavor, colleagues from across the University may be called upon to weigh in and participate to help the project move to fruition.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation in the process. Information and updates will be provided in Duquesne University Times and via email as the initiative surges forward.
