Marketing and Communications Garners Several CUPPIE Awards
The Division of Marketing and Communications, in collaboration with school and campus partners, recently received seven awards from the College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP).
Presented as part of the 14th annual CUPPIE Awards, the honors recognize the work of higher education member institutions for creative excellence in marketing and communications.
This year, nearly 360 entries were submitted by colleges, universities, agencies and independent schools from across Pennsylvania and other states. Featuring work completed from Dec. 1, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2020, submissions included everything from social media posts to videos as well as entries in a special COVID-19 category.
The competition is judged by marketing and communication industry professionals who have no vested interest in the institutions nor the work submitted. CUPPIE Awards of gold, silver, bronze and honorable mention are normally presented to winners during the Spring Professional Development Conference, but due to the pandemic winners were presented with digital awards.
The Division of Marketing and Communications submitted nine entries and won the following awards:
