Dr. Aleem Gangjee, Distinguished Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and the Rev. Adrian Van Kaam, C.S.Sp., Endowed Chair in Scholarly Excellence, was an invited lecturer at the International Conference on Oncology and Anticancer Research in Paphos, Cyprus, from June 6 to 12. Gangjee presented Structure and Activity of Relationships in Antitumor Agents With Targeted Folate Transport and Purine Synthesis Inhibition. He also chaired a discussion session on recent developments in chemotherapy.

Laurie Serafino, associate professor of law and director of clinical legal education, served as the moderator of a panel discussion featuring renowned attorney F. Lee Bailey at the Allegheny County Bar Association’s 51^st Annual Bench-Bar Conference on June 21.
