- Dr. Olga Welch, dean, School of Education, $300,000, from The Heinz Endowments, for The Canevin Center for Educational Transformation and Social Justice. The award runs through Dec. 31, 2017.
- Dr. Andrea Pfalzgraf, assistant professor of pharmacy administration, Mylan School of Pharmacy, $1,500, from the College of Psychiatric & Neurologic Pharmacists Foundation, for Stigma in Adults with Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) and Migraine: A Comparative Analysis of Perceptions of Invalidation.
- Dr. Patricia Kelley, professor, School of Nursing, $26,858, from The Geneva Foundation, for Global Health Engagement Missions: Lessons Learned Aboard U.S. Naval Hospital Ships.
- Dr. Jennifer Aitken, professor of chemistry and biochemistry, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, $4,500, from the American Chemistry Society, for the Project Seed Program, an introduction to chemistry lab work for economically disadvantaged high school students. This brings the total award amount to date to $207,661.
