DORI Updates to Go Live on Jan. 20; Content Freeze Scheduled Prior to Launch

The Computing and Technology Services and public affairs web teams will launch an updated version of DORI on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

The new version will include major upgrades to DORI’s infrastructure and capabilities while maintaining familiar navigation and icons to ease the transition.

New and/or improved DORI features include:

  • New “Go To” dropdown to access role-specific information based on whether the user is an employee, faculty member, student or a combination. If a combination of roles, the user can choose from dropdown of his/her specific role options.
  • Single MultiPass sign-on, which allows logins from multiple devices that remember log-in information
  • Mobile friendly
  • A visual redesign that creates a more user-friendly navigation and architecture
  • Updated content.

There will be a DORI content freeze from Thursday, Jan. 14, through Wednesday, Jan. 20, during which no new content or edits will appear. Changes made by content managers during that period will automatically publish on Jan. 20.

Users do not have to do anything in anticipation of this upgrade except log in on or after Jan. 20 to become familiar with the new DORI format.
