  • David Lampe, BSNES, $410,166, from the National Institutes of Health for Paratransgenesis for Malaria Using Asaia Sp. Bacteria.
  • Wilson Meng, School of Pharmacy, $142,957, from the National Institutes of Health, for Development of a Regulatory T Cell Mimetic for Tolerance Induction in Skin Transplantation.
  • Mai-Ly Steers, School of Nursing, $62,451, from the National Institutes of Health for A Social Media Personalized Normative Feedback Intervention for Heavy Drinking Student.
  • Melissa Kalarchian, School of Nursing, $20,000, from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, for a collaborative project with Carnegie Mellon University which was selected to participate in the Office of Women’s Health Competition Shape of Health: An Obesity Prevention Game.
  • Janie Fritz and Inci Sayrak, McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, a $2,000 Faculty Development Grant, to support the development of a course titled Global and Cultural Issues in Health Communication.
