Amy Woods, Three Alumni Receive ‘Ten Under Ten’ Award

The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) recognized School of Pharmacy Assistant Director Amy Woods and three alumni with a “Ten Under Ten” award during its 2020 virtual annual conference Oct. 2.

The “Ten Under Ten” Awards recognize the top 10 pharmacists practicing for less than 10 years who demonstrate commitment to advancing the profession, are involved in the PPA and other pharmacy associations, and participate in community service. The awards are presented every three years.

This recognition also highlights the preparation students receive at Duquesne to enter the field. Woods, a 2012 alumna of the pharmacy school, is assistant director of experiential education and director of continuing pharmacy education and certificate programs at the school.

In addition to Woods, the PPA recognized three Duquesne alumni with “Ten Under Ten” awards: Benjamin Andrick (2015), Ann Johnson (2012) and Stephanie Mrozek (2011).
