68th Law Alumni Reunion to be Held as Virtual Event

The law school’s annual reunion celebration tradition will continue this year despite the pandemic.

The 68th annual Law Alumni Reunion will be held virtually with a video presentation Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 5:30 p.m.

Shanicka L. Kennedy, L’01, will moderate the event. A senior partner of the business model and employment litigation group at FedEx Ground, she also is the law school’s 2018 Outstanding Achievement awardee.

The celebration will include the presentation of the following awards:

  • The 2020 Distinguished Alumna Award: Tina O. Miller, L’93, partner at Reisinger Comber & Miller, LLC
  • The 2020 Dr. John E. Murray, Jr. Meritorious Service Award: Joseph Sabino Mistick, L’79, associate professor of law at Duquesne University
  • 2020 Outstanding Achievement Award: Marla N. Presley, L’03, office managing principal and office litigation manager at Jackson Lewis.

The event also will mark the official “passing of the gavel” to the members of the 2020-2021 Duquesne Law Alumni Association board of governors.
