Virtual Learning Opportunity: Building Authentic Community Relationships

Duquesne University has long been involved with local communities, working together to address systemic challenges in numerous areas. In continuation of that effort, the Center for Catholic Faith and Culture (CCFC) and the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research are co-hosting a virtual event to learn about University-community partner ACH Clear Pathways.

Won’t You Be My NeighborTimesFaculty, staff and graduate students are invited to Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Building Authentic Relationships in the Community, Tuesday, April 20, from 12 to 1 p.m. ACH Clear Pathways, a nonprofit organization, provides enriching and new experiences to youth and families through visual and performing arts.

Attendees will hear from ACH Clear Pathways Founder and Executive Director Tyian Battle, who will discuss the organization’s history and vision as well as opportunities for new partnerships. A virtual tour of the nonprofit’s new Kaufmann Center location also is planned.
