Dr. Antony Davies, associate professor of economics, presented a lecture titled, Profit, Plunder and Sustainability, for the July 24 corporate retreat for Waste Management Inc.

Sean Jones, associate professor of jazz studies, has been named a member of the leadership group for the Breathe Project, a coalition of 85 organizations and 1,000 individuals dedicated to making significant improvements to air quality in southwestern Pennsylvania. The leadership group is committed to encouraging individual and corporate actions, commissioning research and setting goals that will define future success.
