Learn How to Use Social Media in Health Care Research at Nursing School Presentation

Dr. Michelle Litchman, a professor of nursing at the University of Utah, will explore how social media tactics can support health care research at the next School of Nursing Forum for Research and Scholarship (FORS) Colloquium series presentation.

Litchman will present Use of Social Media in Research on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 529 of Fisher Hall. During her discussion, she will show how social media tactics have increased health care research opportunities specific to recruitment and data collection. Ethical issues and challenges with social media research will also be reviewed.

The lecture, which is free and open to all members of the campus community, can also be attended virtually through a GoToTraining site.

Sponsored by the Center for Research for Underserved and Vulnerable Populations, the FORS Colloquium series promotes the exchange of ideas and intellectual debate, as well as peer review of writing projects.
