Updates at Duquesne Mean Good Deals at Nonprofit

In keeping with commitments to sustainability and serving others, Duquesne has donated more than 30 truckloads of residence hall furniture to Construction Junction, with more to come, says Chris Collins, resident director of St. Martin’s Hall.

The furniture is coming from three floors in St. Martin’s and another three floors in Towers, a total of about 170 rooms. These residents will be receiving updated furniture similar to the latest in St. Ann’s, Collins said.

The nonprofit, which resells building materials, is excited about the opportunity to offer the “indestructible” This End Up furniture, starting at $25, according to the Post-Gazette.

The University makes a habit of giving where it can, doing good for people and the environment.
