Campus Community Asked to Support Blood Drives

Two blood drives will be held this month for all faculty, staff and students to help maintain the community blood supply in the Pittsburgh area.

The first blood drive is on Monday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Towers Multipurpose Room. To register to donate, contact Sarah Bongiovanni in the Office of Residence Life or Matt Sinclair in the Office of Commuter Affairs.

A second blood drive will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Africa Room of the Union. To register for this blood drive, either:

Potential donors for both drives are asked to bring a photo ID, driver’s license, passport or Central Blood Bank ID card.

Appointments are taken every quarter hour. Walk-ins are also welcome.
