Dr. Janie Harden Fritz, associate professor of communication and rhetorical studies, received the Scholar of the Year Award from the State Communication Association Division of the National Communication Association for her article, Robert T. Oliver: Standard Bearer of the Field of Communication, published earlier this year in the Pennsylvania Scholar Series IV.
