Dr. Clifford Bob, associate professor of political science, participated in the Pittsburgh Darfur Emergency Coalition’s speaker series on April 14, commenting on Rebecca Hamilton’s presentation from her acclaimed work Fighting for Darfur: Public Action and the Struggle to Stop Genocide.

Dr. Thomas Pollack, director of technology and accreditation and professor of information systems management in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business, was recognized by the Advisory Board of the Master of Science in Information Systems Management (MSISM) program for his long record of exemplary service to the group. The Advisory Board is comprised of industry leaders and faculty members who ensure that Duquesne’s MSISM curriculum provides the best possible preparation for students, and Pollack has been a key member of the group from its inception. He received a commemorative plaque as a token of thanks for his 24 years of service and leadership on April 20.
