Freshman Move-In Scheduled, Surface Parking Affected
Campus will welcome members of the class of 2017 when they arrive for Freshman Move-In on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 3 to 6 p.m. Surface parking will be prohibited on the move-in route during these times, but surface parking permit holders will be granted parking in the Forbes Garage.
Parking restrictions will go into effect on Monday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. and will remain restricted in certain locations until move-in is completed. Vehicles parked on the move-in route during move-in will be towed.
A move-in route will be established with one-way traffic affecting the following:
- Bluff Street
- McAnulty Drive
- Locust Street
- Seitz Street
- Vickroy Street.
The University’s award-winning, student-run Orientation program will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 25.
