Campus Encouraged to Donate at Annual Fall Blood Drive

Duquesne will host its annual fall blood drive for faculty, staff and students on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Africa Room. Donations help the Central Blood Bank fulfill its lifesaving mission and provide blood products to thousands of patients in the community.

Participants can set up an appointment to donate by doing one of the following:

• Visit www.centralbloodbank.org and use sponsor code CU090009
• Contract your department recruiter
• Contact Carol Negley in the Office of Human Resources at 412.396.5309.
• Appointments are taken every quarter hour and walk-ins are welcome.

Prior to an appointment, participants are asked:

• Before arriving for an appointment, save time by completing the health history questionnaire online via Donor Pass
• Review important donor preparation tips.

Donors are asked to bring a photo ID, a driver’s license, passport or a Central Blood Bank ID card.
