Stone in Memory of Gamma Phi Veterans Blessed

On Veterans Day, the Rev. Naos McCool, C.S.Sp., assistant dean for formation in the School of Education, was joined by members of the Gamma Phi fraternity for a blessing of a stone dedicated in memory of the Gamma Phi brothers who have made the supreme sacrifice of their life in service of their country.

The commemorative stone is located on the lawn behind the Administration Building near Trinity Hall.

Gamma Phi, founded at Duquesne University in 1916, is the oldest local fraternity in the country.
