Human Rights Film Series Continues with ‘Tough Guise 2’

The University’s seventh annual Human Rights Film Series continues on Wednesday, Jan. 29, with Tough Guise 2, a documentary that explores how the media and pop culture shape and distort what it means to be masculine in American society.

Dr. Thomas F. Matta, a counselor with the Pittsburgh Vet Center, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and author of Voices of Men: The Shaping of Masculinities in Three Subcultural Contexts, will speak after the screening.

All screenings for the Human Rights Film Series start at 7 p.m. in Room 105 of College Hall and are free and open to the public.

The series is presented by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. For more information, call 412.396.6415.
