Breakfast Series to Explore Servant Leadership

The School of Leadership and Professional Advancement’s Leadership Breakfast Series will continue with its second session, Servant Leadership:  A Practical View of Its Advantages, at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, in the Power Center Ballroom.

Presenter Tom Crea, a leadership performance coach and president of Blackhawk Consulting Group, will discuss Robert Greenleaf’s thesis on servant leadership. Servant Leadership focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong.

The Leadership Breakfast Series is an educational and networking event designed to inspire participants to think about successful leadership and to enhance leadership skills—regardless of role or position.

Sessions cost $45 each and include a continental breakfast, served at 7:30 a.m., parking and handout materials. University employees can register at a discounted rate of $25 through the DU Training Tracker with a budget number.

The series continues with Identifying, Developing and Creating Tomorrow’s Leaders Today: Leadership and Succession Planning on Tuesday, May 13, and will run through December.
