Class of 2018 Move-In on Tuesday to Affect Surface Parking
Duquesne’s Class of 2018 will arrive on campus for Freshman Move-In on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 3 to 6 p.m.
Surface parking will be prohibited on the move-in route during these times, but surface parking permit holders may park in the Forbes Garage. Parking restrictions will start at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, and will remain restricted in certain locations until move-in is completed. Vehicles parked along the route during the restriction will be towed.
The established route will make the following streets one-way:
- Bluff Street
- McAnulty Drive
- Locust Street
- Seitz Street
- Vickroy Street.
The University’s award-winning, student-run Orientation program will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 24.
