Summer Theater to Offer ‘Bus Stop’

A Pittsburgh bus stop sits outside the doors of Rockwell Hall, but the Summer Company will transport its audience to a different Bus Stop in its latest theatrical offering.

The group will perform the William Inge classic comedy Bus Stop Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 21-23 and Aug. 28-30, at the Peter Mills Theater inside Rockwell Hall. Curtain is at 8 p.m.

Directed by Justin Sines, the play focuses on travelers leaving Kansas City who become stranded in a winter snowstorm at a roadside diner, and the revelations and interactions that occur overnight.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, $15 for general admission. Service fees are applied to credit-card payments.
