Fall Open House Welcomes High School Seniors

Preparations are under way to welcome an estimated 2,500 visitors to campus for the 2014 Fall Open House.

This annual recruitment event for high school seniors and their families will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14. During that time, prospective students and other guests will have the opportunity to learn about Duquesne’s academic majors, living arrangements and recreational opportunities.

In addition to a complimentary breakfast, visitors will be able to meet representatives from the various schools of study, enjoy informal walking tours of campus and attend formal presentations about academics, financial aid and careers.

Tables staffed by representatives of academic programs, campus organizations and services will line Academic Walk, where visitors will also be welcomed by faculty, staff and current students, provided with flyers and brochures, and invited to learn more about living and learning at Duquesne.

The Office of Admissions organizes the Fall Open House, which offers an enjoyable and informative event for prospective students and their families who are considering Duquesne.

The Fall Open House is free, but registration is required. Visit the Fall Open House web page or call 412.396.6197 for more information.
