The Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research (CETR) will host continuing critical conversations about institutional support and community-engaged research as well as its regular monthly open house.

Gaultier Faculty Fellow Dr. Eva Simms, professor of psychology, will lead the discussion What Are the Ethical Implications of Producing Knowledge In and With Communities? on Thursday, Jan. 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 119 of the Union.

Also, Community Uncorked, a monthly open house for community-engaged faculty and community partners, will focus on working with Latino families and communities on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 4 to 5 p.m. These informal sessions, hosted by CETR, are held at the Murphy Building, 20 Chatham Square. They are designed to broaden the base and support of the University’s community-engaged activities.
