Prospective Students, Families to Visit Campus for Duquesnefest

More than 2,000 prospective students and their families are expected to visit campus for Duquesnefest, the University’s summer open house, this Sunday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This annual event draws students from the region and from as far away as Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and other states.

“Duquesnefest is a great opportunity for the University to showcase campus, its academic programs, student services and resources,” said Debra Zugates, director of undergraduate admissions. “We appreciate our partners throughout the University who help to make this day a huge success.”

Duquesnefest is designed for high school seniors and their families to:

  • Meet representatives from admissions, financial aid and other student service offices
  • Learn about majors and career options from faculty
  • Explore campus.

The event, hosted by the Office of Admissions, is free and open to the public.
