Nobel Laureate on Climate Change Speaking Tonight

Dr. Richard Alley, a member of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning intergovernmental panel on climate change, will kick off the inaugural Presidential Conference on the Integrity of Creation on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Power Center.

Alley, the Evan Pugh Professor of Environmental Science at Penn State University, will discuss Gold and the Golden Rule: Economic and Ethical Opportunities on Energy and Environment.

The session will be moderated by Dr. Alan Seadler, associate academic vice president for research. A reception will follow in the Power Center’s Shepperson Suite.

No advance registration is needed for this opening lecture. Registration has filled for all other sessions of the three-day event.
