Football, Fundraising and Fellowship Discussed at United Way Luncheon

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward spoke to nearly 200 members of the campus community at the United Way luncheon held Nov. 3.

Heyward spoke of his ties to Pittsburgh, the importance of giving back and his foundation, The Heyward House, which benefits local organizations such as KidsVoice and the Boys & Girls Club in Pittsburgh. In addition to the luncheon, attendees participated in a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles and a silent auction.

Duquesne is currently at 68.9 percent of its campaign target of $108,056. The campaign runs through Wednesday, Nov.  25.
