Deadline Imminent for Gaultier Fellow Applications

Applications for the Gaultier Community-Engaged Teaching Fellowships are due this Friday, April 1, with the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research (CETR).

The fellowship, which includes an award of $4,000, allows a faculty member to share successful community-engaged teaching strategies, assist emerging community-engaged teachers and enhance the student learning experience.

The 2016-2017 theme is Preparing Students for Effective Community-Engaged Learning. For more information, visit the website.

In addition, the sixth and final session of this academic year’s Community-Engaged Writing Group will be held on Thursday, April 7, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the CETR office at 20 Chatham Square (Murphy Building). Over the year, members met to develop the skills and strategies needed to advance manuscripts to publication, following Wendy Laura Belcher’s book, Writing Your Journal Article in 12 Weeks: A Guide to Academic Publishing Success.
