Law School Hosts Commencement, Presents Murray Scholarship Award

The Duquesne University School of Law Hosted its 102nd Commencement ceremony this weekend, during which diplomas were conferred, former Pa. Gov. Tom Ridge delivered remarks and two faculty members were honored for their scholarship.

Nearly 125 students received their diplomas during the June 5 ceremony. Ridge, who served as governor from 1995 to 2001 and now chairs Ridge Global, delivered the annual Commencement address.

In addition, the Dr. John and Liz Murray Excellence in Scholarship Award was presented to retiring Distinguished Professor of Law Robert S. Barker and to Professor Jane Moriarty, the Carol Los Mansmann Chair in Faculty Scholarship.
