Inaugural Duquesne University Night at the Pirates a Success

A fun night was had by faculty, staff, students and alumni who participated in the new tradition of Duquesne University Night at the Pirates on Sept. 20 at PNC Park.

As part of the inaugural event, the national anthem was performed by the Mary Pappert School of Music, and the first pitch was thrown by Spiritan Campus Ministry Director and University Chaplain the Rev. Daniel Walsh, C.S.Sp.

The Duquesne crowd helped spark the Pirates to a 6-4 win against the Milwaukee Brewers, ending a seven-game losing streak.
