School of Education Offering Tuition Discounts for Catholic Teachers, Administrators
The School of Education is now offering a 60-percent tuition discount to full-time lay teachers and school administrators in Roman Catholic schools, pre-K through 12th grade, in the Pittsburgh, Greensburg and Altoona-Johnstown dioceses.
This tuition discount opportunity covers more than 30 academic programs, including bachelor’s, master’s, certifications and certificate programs.
“We are delighted to offer this expanded discount to lay teachers and administrators,” said Dr. Cindy Walker, dean of the School of Education. “We appreciate the perspective that these professionals bring to the classroom. Advancing their education can impact their careers and ultimately, their students.”
“For our dedicated Catholic school lay administrators and teachers to be able to earn these credits from such a highly regarded program in such a distinguished Catholic university is a tremendous opportunity,” said Dr. Michael Latusek, superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. “We have been blessed to be able to collaborate with the School of Education, and I know our teachers will be eager to participate.”
