‘Princeton Review’ Names MBA Program as One of Nation’s Top 267

The Princeton Review has recognized the MBA program in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business as one of the top 267 programs of its kind in the United States. The rating was based on a survey of 23,000 students conducted by the publication.

“This rating serves as a further testament to the high quality of our MBA program, faculty and students,” said Dr. Dean McFarlin, dean of the business school. “We offer a rigorous academic experience that is complemented by a collaborative approach. As the pace of business evolves faster than ever, we will keep innovating to provide our students with the best educational experience possible.”

This latest recognition comes just weeks after the school’s MBA Sustainable Business Practices program was ranked first in the country by Corporate Knights in its 2017 Better World MBA List.

“It’s rewarding to see our graduate business programs receive this consistent recognition,” said Dr. Karen Donovan, associate dean of graduate programs and executive education at the business school. “Students tell us they are drawn to Duquesne not only for our outstanding educational opportunities, but also for our focus on relevant issues such as business ethics, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.”

The Princeton Review’s on-campus MBA survey asked students at the 267 business schools about their institution’s academics, student body and campus life as well as about themselves and their career plans.

“We recommend Duquesne University as one of the best to earn an MBA. We chose the 267 on-campus MBA program schools on this list based on our high regard for their academics and our assessment of institutional data we collect from the schools,” said Robert Franek, Princeton Review senior vice president-publisher. “We also solicited and greatly respect the opinions of the students attending these schools who reported on their experiences at their schools.”
