Night of Lights Illuminates Campus for Christmas Season
Faculty, staff and students joined President Ken Gormley to ring in the holiday season on campus with the 21st annual Night of Lights Celebration themed A Silent Night on the Bluff on Nov. 29.
The campus community enjoyed a photo booth, Christmas carols, carriage rides and Santa’s Workshop, leading up to the official lighting of campus. A Christmas dinner in the Union Ballroom concluded the festive evening.
Additionally, the 50th anniversary of the Duquesne Union was commemorated with a special dedication by the Rev. Sean Hogan, C.S.Sp.
Hosted by the Student Government Association, all proceeds from the Night of Lights event benefitted Autism Speaks.
