Founders Week 2018 Celebrations Continue

The annual Founders Week celebration continues with a concert that explores the connection between engagement with music and improvement in wellbeing.

The campus community is invited to attend Music and Wellbeing Around the World, a concert presented by local musicians and students from the Mary Pappert School of Music at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Jan. 31, in the PNC Recital Hall. The performance will demonstrate how music and wellbeing are intimately connected in different cultures as well as its therapeutic value in the United States.

Founders Week 2018, Be Well in the Spirit, concludes this Friday, Feb. 2, with the following events:

  • Mass for the Feast Day of the Venerable Francis Libermann, C.S.Sp., noon, University Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
  • Vespers and Reception, 4:30 p.m., Trinity Hall Chapel. RSVP is required for the reception.

Founders Week is sponsored by the Division of Mission and Identity. Visit www.duq.edu/foundersweek for more information.
