Day of Giving Party Kicks Off Third Annual Campaign Tonight
Members of the Duquesne University community are reminded that the 2018 Day of Giving campaign begins with a special Kick-Off Party from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Red Ring tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 7. A special donation period will be open during the time of the party, and the third annual Duquesne Day of Giving officially launches at midnight.
Featuring numerous enhancements and updates—including a new and improved platform and real-time updates—the campaign invites faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents and friends to make a gift to support the University. Donors have the option to make an unrestricted gift to The Duquesne Fund (which helps the University meet its most pressing needs) or designate a gift to the school, organization or sports team of their choice.
As of today, this year’s Duquesne Day of Giving currently features $108,500 in Challenges, which marks an increase from just $38,000 during the 2017 campaign.
