The visit was part of Gormley’s trip to Duquesne’s Italian campus in Rome, where he met with students, faculty and staff, and visited some of the Spiritan sites in the city. Students and faculty from the Italian campus also were part of the papal audience during Gormley’s visit, and unfurled a Duquesne banner when the University was recognized at the event.
