Deadline Approaching for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
The Office of Human Resources invites faculty and staff to participate in the University-wide celebration of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday, April 26.
Children between the ages of eight and 18 may participate. Due to limited seating, advanced registration is required by Monday, April 16.
The Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day schedule includes:
- 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. Check-in at Towers Living Learning Center
- 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Light Breakfast for parents and children at the Hogan Dining Center in Towers
- 9 to 9:15 a.m. Welcoming remarks from Dr. Timothy R. Austin
- 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Time spent with parent
- 3 to 4 p.m. guided campus tour (weather permitting) for both parents and children. Participants are asked to meet in Room 119 of the Union to be assigned a tour guide.
Faculty and staff should request permission from their supervisor to bring their child to work and are required to accompany their child to the breakfast and tour.
Attendance certificates will be available for the children and distributed during the breakfast program.
