Winners Announced for Part-Time Faculty Micro-Grants

The Center for Catholic Faith and Culture (CCFC) has announced the winners of the part-time faculty mission micro-grant competition for spring 2018. This University-wide internal funding opportunity supports faculty work that reflects and contributes to Duquesne’s mission and identity.

Each of the following winners will receive $500 to support their projects:

  • Alice Charitable, adjunct clinical faculty, School of Nursing
    The award will provide professional development support for attendance at the Annual Nurse Entrepreneurship and Career Alternatives Conference.
  • Dr. Mrea Csorba, adjunct assistant professor, Department of History, McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts
    The funding will help cover travel expenses for an Excursion to National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Italy.
  • Ron Samuels, adjunct professor, Mary Pappert School of Music
    The grant will help fund an opportunity to serve as a guest artist/teacher at the Primavera Musicale Chamber Music Season at EAFIT Universidad in Medellín, Colombia.
