Duquesne Faculty and Staff Experts Interviewed by Regional, National Reporters in May

More than 840 news outlets recently published a story in which Dr. Carla Lucente, professor of modern languages and literatures, and Law School Dean Emeritus Nicholas Cafardi were interviewed about the nomination of Giuseppe Conte as Italian prime minister.

In addition, more than 180 news outlets published an interview with English Chair Dr. Gregory Barnhisel about English professors’ decisions to not assign the works of Latino author Junot Diaz due to allegations of sexual misconduct.

In the month of May, Duquesne faculty and staff were featured in 1,053 stories in media outlets such as the New Yorker, National Catholic Reporter, The Washington Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer, among others.
